IV FAQ’s

What is intravenous vitamin therapy?

Intravenous vitamin therapy is a quick and easy way to have a drip packed with vitamins, minerals and electrolytes specially formulated to achieve a variety of needs which goes straight into the blood stream.

Why should I have IV vitamin therapy rather than oral vitamins?

When having oral vitamins, approximately only 15% of the active ingredient is absorbed. When having an intravenous vitamin drip, the vitamins bypass the GI tracts and go straight into the blood stream meaning there is 100% absorption. When having oral vitamins, high doses can cause gastro irritation so when having IV vitamin therapy, higher doses can be achieved without such side effects.

Which drip is right for me?

Prior to your infusion you will have a consultation with a qualified medical practitioner where a thorough health assessment will be done. We can then assess your needs and see what kind of treatment best suits you.

Who can have IV vitamin therapy?

The majority of people can have IV vitamin therapy however a medical assessment will be done prior to any treatment to make sure you are suitable.

If you are an athlete it is best to contact your coach/manager to see whether you can have infusions.

How long does it take?

Infusion appointments take approximately 30-45 minutes
