What is phlebotomy? Phlebotomy is the act of taking blood samples for medical use. This is commonly a venous blood sample but can also be a capillary blood test. At Remedi we are a CQC registered clinic offering phlebotomy services for patients who have been referred by both internal and external practitioners. Our medical team and Remedi charge for phlebotomy services based on the amount of labs/tests required and if the samples need processing, for example if the samples need centrifugal or freezing. Please note that the fees for phlebotomy are separate to lab charges and test fees. Many laboratories request that samples are taken between Monday - Wednesday. Please check with your requesting practitioner if they have any special requirements for the test, such as fasting or if the samples need to be taken on specific days of the week. Cancellation Policy
Appointment Cancellation Policy: Please note that we have a strict 24-hour cancellation policy whereby we charge the full cost of your appointment for any cancellations within 24 hours or for non-attendances. We kindly ask that if you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment that you do this at least 24 hours ahead of your appointment time.
