What to Expect During Your IV Appointment Before your treatment, you will have a consultation with one of our medical practitioners to review your health, goals, and suitability for the infusion. This ensures your treatment is safe and tailored to your needs. Once you are ready, your blood pressure will be checked by one of our nurses or doctors, and a small cannula will be gently inserted into your arm. You may feel a brief, extremely mild discomfort as the cannula goes in, but most people find it painless once in place. As the IV infusion begins, you might notice a slight taste of vitamins in your mouth or a mild sensation as the nutrients enter your system. Both are completely normal and pass quickly. Some clients don’t feel anything at all. The infusion itself takes around 45 - 60 minutes, giving you time to sit back, relax, and enjoy our herbal tea in our comfortable infusion lounge.
